  • Connecting Social Media Accounts

Each artist in your roster can have their own social media accounts linked. This allows you to post directly to their profiles from Chatmu.

    Supported Platforms

    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • YouTube
    • TikTok
    • Twitter / X
    • LinkedIn

    How to Connect an Account

    1. Go to Social Media → Connected Accounts

    2. Use the dropdown at the top to select the artist you want to connect accounts for. If you haven't added artists yet, go to My Artists first.

    3. In the Connect Platform panel on the right, click the platform you want to connect.

    4. You will be redirected to the platform's login page. Log in with the artist's social media credentials and authorize the connection.

    5. After authorization, you will be automatically redirected back to Chatmu. The new account appears under Active Accounts on the left panel.

    Managing Connected Accounts

    • View connected accounts: The Active Accounts panel shows all linked platforms for the selected artist
    • Disconnect an account: Click the Disconnect button next to any account to remove it
    • Connect more: Use the Connect Platform panel to add additional platforms — platforms already connected won't appear in the available list

    Important Notes

    • Each platform connection requires the artist's own login credentials
    • You can connect multiple accounts per platform for the same artist
    • If an artist has no social accounts connected, you will see an empty state with shortcuts to connect accounts or invite the artist to your workspace
    • Disconnecting an account is permanent — the artist will need to re-authorize to reconnect

    Troubleshooting

"No artist appears in the dropdown" Add at least one artist to your roster from My Artists.

"Connection didn't work" The OAuth flow may have failed. Try connecting again — make sure pop-ups aren't blocked and the login credentials are correct.

Connected account doesn't appear Wait a few seconds and refresh the page. If it persists, try the connection flow again.
