    The Email and Campaigns tools let you communicate professionally without leaving Chatmu.


    Email Inbox

    Send and receive emails directly from the platform. You have two options for your email identity:

    • Custom Domain: Connect your own domain (e.g., [email protected]) for maximum professionalism. Set up DKIM verification and inbound routing through our guided setup.
    • Chatmu Handle: Claim a free @user.chatmu.io handle (e.g., [email protected]) for quick setup without a custom domain.

    Domain Verification

    When connecting a custom domain, you'll need to add DNS records to prove ownership. The platform guides you step-by-step:

    1. Register your domain in Settings.
    2. Add the provided DKIM TXT record at resend._domainkey.yourdomain.com.
    3. Add the MX record pointing to inbound.resend.com for receiving emails.
    4. Once verified, your domain status changes to active and you can start sending.

    Email Campaigns

    Send bulk emails to segmented contact lists. Filter recipients by role, tags, or custom criteria. Attach pitch templates or write fresh content. Track delivery status directly in the campaign view.
