Artist Permissions for Social Media

By default, only Administrators and Owners can publish on behalf of any artist. You can grant restricted users access to specific artists so they can compose and publish posts for those artists.

How It Works

• Admins/Owners have automatic access to all artists
• Standard users (User role) need explicit permission per artist
• Permissions are managed through the Members settings

Granting Artist Permissions

1. Go to Settings → Members

2. Scroll down to the Artist Permissions section

3. You will see a matrix table:

   Artist	Allowed Users
   Artist Name	☐ User 1   ☐ User 2   ☐ User 3

4. Check the box next to each user who should be able to publish for that artist

5. Click Save Permissions to save

What Permitted Users Can Do

Once a user has permission for an artist, they can:

• See that artist in the artist selector on the Publish page
• Select the artist's connected social accounts
• Create, schedule, and publish posts for that artist

Inviting Artists to Manage Their Own Accounts

If you have a Business plan, you can invite artists to your workspace so they can connect their own social accounts and publish themselves:

1. From the Publish page, when an artist has no connected accounts, click Invite Artist to your Account
2. This takes you to Members settings where you can add them
3. Assign them permission for their own artist profile using the permissions matrix

This way, artists can self-manage their social media without needing admin access to your entire workspace.

Security Note

• Users without artist permissions will see an error if they try to publish for an unauthorized artist
• Administrator users bypass all artist permission checks
• Always review artist permissions when adding new members to your workspace
