Social Media Manager Overview

The Chatmu Social Media Manager lets you publish, schedule, and manage content across multiple social media platforms directly from your artist workspace — no need to switch between apps.

What You Can Do

Multi-platform publishing	Post to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn simultaneously
Media attachment	Upload images and videos, reuse files from your library, or attach Chatmu Create videos
Scheduling	Schedule posts up to 3 months in advance with timezone support
Content calendar	Visual calendar of all scheduled and published posts
Post history	Track every post with its current status and per-platform results
Artist-level management	Connect different social accounts per artist and assign posting permissions to team members

Prerequisites

Before using the Social Media Manager, you need:

1. An active subscription with the Social Posts feature enabled
2. At least one artist registered in your Roster (go to My Artists to add one)
3. Social accounts connected to each artist you want to publish for

Where to Find It

Navigate to the Social Media section from the sidebar. Once there you will see four tabs:

1. Publish — Compose and send posts
2. Calendar — View your content schedule
3. Connected Accounts — Manage linked social accounts
4. History — Review past posts and their status

How It Works

1. Select an artist from your roster
2. Connect their social media accounts (one-time setup per platform per artist)
3. Compose your post: write content, attach media
4. Select which accounts to publish to
5. Publish now or schedule for later

The platform handles the publishing process automatically and logs every step so you can verify each post's status across all selected platforms.
